Safety tips

Our IPL handsets are designed to filter out all UV wavelengths, effectively blocking any light below 1200nm—aligning with industry standards for IPL systems. This filtration helps protect the outer layers of the skin from potential damage. As a result, our device is not cancer-causing and can be used with confidence and peace of mind.

When used as directed, our handset is completely safe and poses no risk of harm. Keskine guarantees that all UV light is filtered out from the IPL spectrum, eliminating wavelengths below 1200 nanometres. This industry-standard safety measure protects your skin from potential light-induced damage, ensuring you won't experience long-term effects like skin diseases or premature aging.

The Keskine IPL hair removal device is not recommended if you have any of the following:
- A known skin disorder
- Skin diseases such as allergic dermatitis, eczema, etc.
- Photosensitive epilepsy or Photosensitivity
- Are menstruating, pregnant, or lactating
- Dark black or Sunburnt skin (please refer to the skin tone chart)
- Broken skin, a scab or healed wound, cancer or hemangioma
- Any artificial aesthetic, prosthetic, or plastic area
- Tattoo area

We advise against using IPL directly on scars or tattoos, as it can generate heat build-up and cause discomfort in these areas. However, it is safe to use IPL on the skin surrounding tattoos.

While there is no evidence that IPL has harmful effects during pregnancy or breastfeeding, we advise against its use during these periods as a precautionary measure.

How to Use:

Step 1: Clean the treatment area and shave off any hair that needs attention using a razor. Ensure your skin is completely dry before using the device.

Step 2: Connect the power cord to the adapter, then plug it into a power outlet.

Step 3: Press the On/Off button on the side of the device to turn it on. The product offers five smart modes; press the On/Off button to adjust the modes.

Step 4: Wear goggles to protect your eyes.

Step 5: Place the light outlet directly on the skin and keep it vertical. The hair removal sensor light will activate to indicate full contact. Press the flash button to begin the hair removal process.

Step 6: Once the hair removal process is complete, press and hold the On/Off button for 1 to 2 seconds to turn off the device. (Avoid pulling out the plug without turning off the machine to prevent damage.)

Yes, we recommend shaving the treatment area before using your handset. Shaving the hair to the right length allows IPL to effectively target the hair follicles.

  • Week 1-4: Use 3 times a week
  • Week 4-6: Use 2 times a week
  • Month 3 and onwards: Use once every month.

Keskine is one of the only company that incorporates Ice-Cooling technology, ensuring pain-free treatments. Users will experience no discomfort during the process.

You can use your handset on any part of your body, including the Brazilian (bikini area) and face, but please avoid using it around the eyes (only below the cheekbones).

Our IPL device is not suitable for the inner parts of the bikini area. Never use it on the labia minora, vagina, scrotum, or anus.

We generally recommend IPL use for individuals aged 15 and above, as body hair typically matures around this age. Some hair follicles may mature earlier. However, whether to use IPL depends on the individual. For those under 18, we suggest seeking parental approval or consulting a specialist (cosmetician or dermatologist) before using our products.

Order

Changes to your order can only be made within 2 hours of placing it, provided the order has not yet been processed. As we process orders quickly, we may not always be able to accommodate changes or cancellations. To request a change or cancellation, please contact our Customer Care team at support@keskine.com within 2 hours, including the details of your request.

1. If you placed the order through your registered account, simply log in to our website with your email and check the order status under "My Orders."

2. Once your package is shipped, we will send a tracking number to your email. You can use this number to track your package.

Shipping and Delivery

We share your excitement about receiving your new product! Shipping times can vary, but we work closely with our carriers to ensure your order arrives as quickly as possible. Please allow 0-1 business days for your order to be processed at our warehouse before shipping. Orders shipped via ground shipping typically arrive in 2-4 business days.

Local taxes and import duties may apply in certain countries and are not included in the prices displayed. The buyer or recipient is responsible for paying these taxes and duties. As our products are sold worldwide, we cannot guarantee they meet the import regulations of every country. If you're unsure, please consult your country's customs office before placing an order.

Your package should arrive within a few days, but it's a good idea to check with your neighbors and/or local post office for any updates in the meantime. If you haven't received your order within a few days, please contact our Customer Service team within 14 days of the last tracking update, providing your order number and tracking details so we can assist you.

Warranty

Keskine is dedicated to providing high-quality products. Each Keskine device undergoes thorough testing to ensure top performance and reliability. Our limited 2-year warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, starting from the date of purchase and expiring two years later.

This warranty does not cover damage, defects, or malfunctions caused by abuse, misuse, improper care, physical impact, foreign object insertion, vandalism, improper storage, incorrect maintenance or repairs, use of harmful chemicals, fire, water damage, abrasives, negligence, failure to follow instructions, device loss, normal wear and tear, alterations, or overuse for professional or commercial purposes.
